Far Cry 5. My husband and I are trying to co-op on the same router. We have played many games together before (L4D2, Overwatch, Vermintide) and have decent PCs so this is not the issue. The errors we keep getting when trying to join each other are Snowshoe and Bookworm with varying numbers. I think Trapper showed up once.Check the firewall, a waste of time. And finally, last step, I configured steam, ubisoft conect and farcry5 to run as administrator, flush dns and disconect the router 15seconds. After the last step i could play coop. I think last step was the only necesary actually.You should first start by restarting your system. The second thing you should do is to double check that no other programs or software are running at the same time that could interfere. Next up youA. The Player Progression is your personal progression including your XP, your in-game currency, your inventory items, your items purchased in the shop, your challenges completed, etc. Some specific items unlocked during quests in co-op will not be saved after leaving the co-op session.
For the last two days, I could play co op with someone in the same house as me for a few hours at a time. However just now I was kicked from their session and can't connect to the Far Cry 5 servers anymore; and am unable to be invited or invite to Co-op. How do I fix this?
Thank you very much. It was Afterburner + Rivatuner in my case. It interfered with the Uplay interface and broke it. After end both software and restart the game + uplay the overlay was back and coop working.

Usefully, Far Cry 5 keeps players together, teleporting one closer to the other if someone wanders too far away. Co-op is restricted to players from your friends list, with no random matchmaking.
Not sure if Arcade is using peer to peer or client server connections but it sounds like a NAT issue if only one of you can connect at a time.
